Hi friends! Making your own almond milk has never been easier! Though there are many available options in groceries stores nothing can compare to a glass of freshly made nut milk! It’s healthier, tastes perfect, and it’s cheaper! All you need is a nut bag or a cheese cloth and some almonds! You can add any sweetener you like (or none) and make it as creamy as you want it! EASY TO MAKE ALMOND MILK AT HOME

Easy, healthy and delicious almond milk at home!
Ingredients
1 cup raw almonds
4 cups water
2 medjool dates
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
Directions
- Soak almonds for at least 6 hours or overnight!
- Remove the stone from the dates. Add all ingredients in a blender and blend for a minute or two until creamy and smooth. Strain the milk using a nut bag, or by using a cheese cloth – Lay the cheese cloth on a sieve colander which is placed on a mixing bowl, pour over the almond milk, carefully gather the corners of the cheese cloth, and lift up. Squeeze until all of the liquid is extracted. Discard pulp, or save it for another recipe!
- Before use make sure to stir. Store in the fridge for 3 – 4 days.
Notes
- You can add less water to make the almond milk creamier.
- Instead of dates you can use the sweetener of your choice.
- If you want to remove the skins soak the the almonds 5 minutes in hot water.
